Taper Tuesday

Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday! I started my day at 5:30 when I woke up, and there was a small rainbow! I did a 45:00 pull focused lifting session and a 5 mile run. I always run first, but since I only had 5 easy miles, I decided to lift first today. I’ve been focusing on just getting some quality movement down and not going super heavy, so I felt good after the lift! The 5 miles was so nice. The sun was out, a nice light breeze, and about 60 degrees was JUST what I needed to start the day.
Before work I made a different breakfast, and if you know me you know I always eat the same things. I had sourdough toast with cottage cheese, eggs, then another piece of toast with honey, peanut butter and banana! Honestly such a good combo of sweet and savory and salty! I worked at marathon sports but today was more training so it wasn’t too “fun” and a bit boring, but just about learning how things work so I know it’s part of the process.
Tomorrow I need to pack for my trip, but always get anxious before traveling. I hate being out of my realm, so traveling is WAY out of my realm. Which makes me anxious! Anyone else like that? Anyway, I AM excited to go! Tomorrow is a 5 mile run again, then TWO days off, which I am not very excited for.
Who else gets anxious traveling? Any recommendations? Have a great night!
