Happy SUNDAY! Last night was the Kentucky Derby, so I stopped by a fundraiser held each year for my best friend Kyla who passed away just over 4 years ago. All the money raised goes directly to support research in the type of cancer she was diagnosed with (rhabdomyosarcoma). Anyway, I put on my (favorite) dress and saw some people I love (s/o to the Peterson and McGarry families 💛). Also, the bruins hockey team won the 7th game in overtime last night, so they move on to the next round! I honestly didn’t watch the game because I went to bed at 9 pm, but will watch the replay today!

I have to shout out to yesterday too. I was bouncing OFF THE WALLS after my run. I had so much energy.

After yesterdays long run, I did some lower body lifting (hard days hard, am I right?) but felt pretty good this morning. I was literally sunging and dancing lifting yesterday and was overwhelmed with gratitude and happiness. No idea where it came from. I was SO in the moment, and MAN DID IT FEEL GOOD. I felt free, and so happy. For anyone struggling, keep going, seriously, it WILL GET BETTER.

Sundays are for cycling, 30:00 Peloton spin, just kept it easy to flush out my legs, and hit about 30:00 of chest and back lifting. Not much else going on today. Just reading, sitting on the couch, stretching, & and eating lots of GOOD foods 🤤

What does your Sunday look like?

A lesson I’m learning lately too, who gives a you know what about what others think of you? I use to be so caught up in “who’s following me back” or “what will XYZ think of this” ect. Well, I actually don’t care. I’m gonna be me and do me, and if you don’t like it, too bad! It’s my life and I’m going to live it to MY BEST :) hence, starting this blog!
