Best Running Temp and Nature

Monday Morning! Honestly one of my favorite days of the week because I usually take Sunday as a “down” or full day off, so I feel ready to go Monday. Started the day with a BPN GO BAR (a must try pre-run) at 5:30 then was out the door for a 10 mile run. I finally didn’t overdress, and wore a tank top and leggings. 50-55 degrees in my opinion is the BEST running weather. Not too hot, not too cold. I saw a TON of earthworms because of the rain, and my shoes were soaked, but honestly felt at peace on this run, I took a GU expresso gel at mile 4 which gave me a nice little mid run boost. What are your favorite gels? Down to try out some new ones!

This week I GRADUATE from college (eek) but not done yet, and it honestly doesn’t even feel like I’ve been in school (hello online classes). Technically my degree is in business management and a minor in accounting and finance BUT I’ve coincidentally taken nutrition and exercise science classes too. Fingers crossed I will be entering in a masters program for the later 2 in the fall so I can continue to learn what I LOVE! Anyway, 5 more miles on deck later today, but for now I’ll be reading a book because I don’t have ANY school work this week! What is something you have going on this week?
